After more than 360 episodes of the Women at Halftime Podcast, I’m excited to share a big announcement: we’re evolving. The podcast you’ve known and loved is becoming the Power of After Show. This change isn’t just about a name—it’s about reflecting the growth of the show, our audience, and the conversations we’re having. It’s about embracing what comes after—after the kids are grown, after the corporate career, after the unexpected life pivots. Because what comes next can be your most powerful chapter yet.

Why Now?
But over time, the conversations expanded. Our community grew to include not only women but also men—professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs—who resonated with the message of navigating 'what’s next' with clarity and purpose. Also, we had a lot of wonderful interviews that featured some men that provided valuable insight. Once a month, my husband Greg, also appears with me as we approach a variety of topics that include everything from finances to having adult children. It became clear that our mission had expanded from our original name. It was time to reflect the broader audience and the deeper transformations happening.
The Meaning Behind "Power of After"
The Power of After isn’t just a catchy title. It’s a mindset and the title of my most recent book. It’s a declaration that life doesn’t end at a milestone—it evolves. Whether it’s after a job loss, retirement, launching a new business, or stepping into an empty nest, 'after' is where you reclaim your story and it’s a wonderful opportunity to truly start another chapter defining your ideal lifestyle and business.
I wrote a book by the name Power of After because I saw the pattern in so many lives, including my own. We often treat 'after' like a footnote—something to survive or merely fade into retirement. But in reality, it’s a chapter brimming with possibility. The podcast is now fully aligned with that message.
What's Changing and What's Staying the Same
The name is changing. The look and feel might evolve a bit. You’ll see updated branding, a new intro, and even a fresh tone in how we talk about life, work, and purpose. We’re also taking on some sponsors I really believe in and that really believe in our message.
But here’s what’s staying the same:
1- Honest, practical conversations
2- Thought-provoking interviews with industry leaders, creatives, and changemakers. If you’ve followed me at all, you know I’m a creative who has produced and published many projects through the years. How did I do this? Through systems and consistency. I share a lot of those principles in our shows.
3- Actionable insights you can apply to your next chapter. It’s important to not only speak about issues but have applicable principles to apply to our lives.
If you’ve been with me for any length of time, you know this: I believe in creating content with heart and purpose. That hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s grown deeper. This is not always a perfectly scripted show. It’s a conversation from me to you.
Who is This For?
The Power of After Show is for you if:
1- You’re standing at a transition point and asking, “What’s next?”
2- You want to build something new using the skills and wisdom you’ve already earned. You might feel stuck and frozen, not sure what to do next. I encourage you to get beyond the fear of starting.
3- You’re tired of the hustle-for-hustle’s-sake culture and want meaningful momentum. You may not want to start a new business or keep working in the same field you are in. You may want to start giving your time to a worthy organization or help to further the message that you believe in. There are many with this desire as life circumstances have dictated an important mission.
4- You believe your experience is not only valuable—it’s powerful. This is important. “Imposter syndrome” is real and every one of us fact this from time to time. We encourage you to validate your experience. You are important to someone. Never forget that!
This show is for those who know their best work isn’t behind them—it’s still unfolding.
A Personal Note
This shift feels both natural and bold. I’ve poured years of thought, passion, and prayer into every episode, and I don’t take the change lightly. I plan to keep working, not because what I do is easy. It takes time, energy and the constant commitment to growth. But I also know that growth requires courage. Just like you, I’m embracing what’s next with open hands and an open heart.
If you’ve ever felt unsure about making a pivot, let this be a reminder: You’re not alone. There are details and a good amount of work in making changes. But change is a sign of strength. And the journey ahead might just be the most meaningful one yet. There’s always some sort of risk. But if you decide to never risk, you have already given up in many ways.
Join Me In the After
Welcome to the Power of After Show starting soon. If you’re new here, I’m glad you’ve found us. If you’ve been on this journey from the beginning—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, your listening, and your feedback have helped shape this next chapter in my life. And I can’t wait to continue growing and exploring our new chapter together.
Let’s make this 'after' count. Because the future isn’t behind you—it’s just beginning.
