I can help you get going again! I know how much FUN it is when you experience success! I started teaching at the ripe old age of "13" and have never quit! (It was actually much better than pulling weeds or babysitting the 5 kids next door!) I have taught EVERY level up to grad school and have never lost the passion for what music can do for people. Yes, I've had many awards, written 100's of songs and multiple albums, but the biggest reward? Seeing you achieve and have fun! There are many options out there, so of course I hope you choose ours, but my main advice is to at least START! If you put it off now, you'll probably never start!

FAQ's (more here: Deborah answers your questions)
You should have a portable (electronic) keyboard or an acoustic piano. If you are purchasing a keyboard, get at least a 73-key keyboard. Most of these can be kept in your closet! For voice instruction, you just need yourself!
An acoustic piano is a grand piano (where you lift the lid) or upright. Both have hammers and strings and will be placed in your room of choice. An electronic piano is portable. There are many that are lightweight, plug in (or have batteries) and have the ability to connect with earphones so no one has to hear you practice!
I recommend you also purchase a stand for a keyboard and earphones. With an acoustic piano, you don't have the option of earphones, but you will get to enjoy the feel of an acoustic which I love!
A professional electronic keyboard is weighted. It is very heavy and is actually my preference for recording! But all you need is a lightweight keyboard to start. You can get them most everywhere, from Costco to Amazon.
