Wonder Woman Movie
As of this date, the Wonder Woman Movie is the eighth highest-grossing film of 2017. It is the story of princess Diana growing up in the Amazon, leaving her island to end a war. She takes us on a journey of self-discovery, humor and even love. (Hero Mountain™ Cables of Success and Rockslides of Destruction-watch video & download FREE booklet!)
Ever since I first saw Lynda Carter in the T.V. series of Wonder Woman, I’ve loved following the progression of the Wonder Woman series. Because I had dark hair at about the same length and a similar look, I was compared with her a number of times. However, unlike Lynda Carter, I was never Miss U.S.A or in a hit series where you had to fight like a champion. I couldn’t even touch my toes!
Unconquerable Warrior
In the recent Wonder Woman Movie, Diana trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Secluded on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
Are you Taken Seriously?

At first, her teammates didn’t take Diana seriously at all. Have you ever felt that way? You watch everyone else’s magnificent posts or listen to a colleague’s verbose demonstration of a new amazing project. Do you feel like others have raving reviews and no one seems to notice your work?
An example of this happened to my husband way back in elementary school when he started a new school. When it came time for kickball, he was chosen very last as no one knew him. What no one knew was how good a natural athlete he was. When he was finally up, he kicked the ball so hard and far, his team won the game. Who do you think they chose first from then on? He had now proved himself and everyone wanted him on their team!
In the same way, I really have nothing to prove when I sit at a piano to sing and play-I just love what I do and am confident in my abilities. But over and over again, I hear the words extraordinary, exceptional and amazing. Since music and media are proven techniques for me, they are especially impactful when added to my presentations.
Proving Yourself
Similarly, after Diana proved herself that first time with her new colleagues, they always wanted her on their team! However, Diana’s optimism and belief that mankind is inherently good comes to a screeching halt with a heavy dose of human awareness. Ares, the force of evil, tries to convince her to go to the other side. As he shows her the possibilities of what could happen if they join forces, Diana resolves to fight even harder against evil. She solidified her personal higher purpose and even though she could not completely rid mankind of evil, she realized there was enough goodness in the world to justify a continuous fight.
Your Purpose
What is your purpose? With a purpose that is larger than yourself, the incentive to keep pushing forward is much stronger. With the arrival of the Wonder Woman Movie, Princess Diana, is officially added to the Marvel collection of movie heroes. You and I may only dream of fighting the types of battles those super heroes fight. However, when you start really committing to and fulfilling your purpose, you are truly demonstrating the hero you are inside.
To define your purpose takes time, guidance and thought. One of the biggest challenges is taking valuable time out to think, plan and set goals. Even then, when you set a goal, it is only a wish or a plan unless you commit to it and start taking the steps to make it happen. My personal mission is to help professional women leaders define their purpose and overcome some of the destructive attitudes and mindsets holding them back. If you have defined your mission in life, take the time to commit to it and put together your action plan. But remember, a plan is only a plan until there’s action! Be the superhero you are inside and ACT!
Define Your Mission and Act!

When was the last time you took time to evaluate your personal mission? Do you really have a plan that will work for your life? Are you committed to the success of that plan? Challenges at halftime include confusion, uncertainty and fear of what the future holds. Many also face frustration in reinventing their life and purpose. Hero Mountain™ is a concentrated time for a small group of professional women to work on a customized plan and the execution of that plan with solid goals! It’s time to re-define your mission and plan for the rest of your journey, especially with the possibility of living longer and richer lives!
